  1. did they say if we would get our $1000 back?? I put down the $1000, but then gave up my spot.
  2. I also received an invite, but I’ll be declining it for another acceptance offer! Hope this helps someone For anyone looking for interview tips, I read the book “physician assistant school interview guide: tips, tricks, and techniques to impress your interviewers”. I think it helped SO much! I’ve been 2/2 on interviews and acceptances & definitely picked up some great advice and felt well prepared with this book! Hope this helps!
  3. Really hoping we hear back today! Good luck to everyone
  4. For the people interviewing today! Good luck!! Also, would you mind telling us what they say about when they will be letting people know about decisions? I interviewed on the 13th, and they were a little vague about when their admissions committee was going to meet after the second interview, and then let us know! Thanks!
  5. So I think they interviewed 18 on the first interview day, and they told us they would be interviewing 100 total, like years in the past! They said the only other interview day was the 27th, and then decisions would be made within a couple days after that! I hope this help! I, too, am super confused about the waitlist thing!
  6. Hi! I was recently accepted into a program that I didn't think I would be too fond of, but I ended up falling in love with the program! I am interviewing at my original top choice on the 13th, and I have been having a hard time deciding what school I would choose if I were to get in to this other program as well. I would love to hear what current students think. School A (the one I have already been accepted to) is a 1 hour commute, ( I can't afford to move or get an apartment, I am lucky enough to live with my boyfriend who pays the mortgage). This is the biggest downside to this school. I don't know how commuting an hour both ways, 5 days a week, will work with the course load. School B is a 30 minute commute. School A is also about $15,000 more expensive. The reason I justify price is that this program is 28 months, which is 4 months longer than school B (where I am interviewing on the 13th). I love that the clinical rotations are 5 weeks, instead of 4 at school B. There are also 2 elective clinical sites and school A, as opposed to only 1 at school B. They are both very new programs so they're pretty comparable when it comes to everything else that I've looked into! So my questions are: 1. If you have a long commute to your PA program, do you regret it/how do you like it? 2. Will 1 additional week in each clinical site and 1 additional elective make a difference/ is it worth the $15,000 additional? 3. Will I get to the 24 month point at school A and wish that I went to school B so that I could be finished already? Thank you so much for any input you all can provide!!
  7. Hey! I was wondering how the virtual interview was for those who interviewed on the 28th!
  8. Super super excited to say I got a call this morning with an acceptance from yesterday’s interview! The directors interviewing were so amazing nice and made the entire process super relaxed and comfortable!
  9. I got my through the Commonwealth Collaboration!
  10. I got an email from Westfield directly, nothing to do with CASPA!
  11. Hey everyone! I’m super excited to say I received an interview invite for Sept 13th!!!
  12. Yes! This is my first one ever! I’m super nervous but also very excited! It was nice that they sent us the schedule for the day! I wonder how many will be interviewed!
  13. That’s awesome!!! Congrats!!! I have an interview for Sept 1st and I know they said to keep the whole day reserved for the interview, 9-5. Was it really a full day of virtual interviews??
