  1. For everyone accepted, don't forget to join the chat! And congrats!! Can't wait to meet all of you.
  2. Agreed. Stats get you the interview. Interview gets you in. Period.
  3. I did a pharmacy tech program to help familiarize myself with meds, increased volunteer hours and shadowing hours. Definitely focused on the diversity in my shadow and volunteer time. But, I didn't apply to NAU last year because I applied started applying too late.
  4. I'm late but I have decided to accept NAUs offer for the class of 2023! Interviewed 9/28 Acceptance call 10/5 from Dr. Brubaker.
  5. I just declined my seat for this school. I hope one of you gets it! Best of luck!
  6. To be fair to all candidates, I won't give the exact questions but I thought they weren't bad at all but they are looking for your critical thinking skills.
  7. Consists of group and 1:1. Interview went great. They make you feel welcome. It's hard to determine what "basic" questions are but I can personally say the questions weren't hard but allowed you to showcase your critical thinking skills.
  8. The website says they interview an average of 3 applicants per position and there are 50 spots. So, maybe 150 interviewees, if not more. I know there are more interviews on Wednesday. Our group that had interviews today had about 20 people. So, I would assume about 6-7 more interview dates? They will end right before Thanksgiving for sure because that's when they said they would let everyone know. Just an educated guess, though.
  9. Such an exciting interview today! It was nice to see some of your faces. Best of luck. I hope we are all the lucky few that hear next week!
  10. I LOVE this statement and I wanted to add to it: Yes, I did get accepted. Last year, I did not. Yet, I was not devastated nor did I lose any faith. I know this was my calling. I'm a believer in Christ and I knew that my time would come. At the right moment. At the right time. Even if you're not--the same applies. What helped my app this year was the dramatic change in my application: higher level classes, more diverse volunteer experience, more PCE, etc. I truly think they like to see that mixed with a genuine personality. Good luck to everyone.
  11. Recieved my call and email for acceptance. I'm ecstatic!
  12. I want a "two days after" phone call. Lol. I'm always checking my phone so you can imagine how bad it is today. But, I won't count myself out even if I don't get a call today. In my file review, she told me the committee meets TODAY to review this weeks applicants. I wish there was a spot for all of us..no lie!
  13. Hi Liv! I'm from AZ, as well. Can you share your stats and when you were CASPA verified?
  14. The diversity email does not get sent to everyone. I got one last year based on my ethnicity, childhood upbringing/income. I think it's kind of like an affirmative action thing.
  15. Yes, I truly think it does. I remember reaching out to AT Still when I was put on the Wait List. They did say that students on the 'Wait List - pending open seat' would have to either accept or deny in order for students on the Wait List to be looked at. I think it's slim but not impossible. Dealing of the cards, I guess. Who knows--they might have 2 students on their Pending List and those two decide to go to other schools. Then, Voila!
  16. Hi Mike! For the 2019-2020 cycle, I applied pretty late. I think I submitted via CASPA in late September/early October 2019. I went on an interview December 12th, 2019 (if I'm not mistaken). I think there was only one more round of students after me and there was only one seat left at that point. I received an email about getting put on the Wait List about a week later. I just got an email around 06/2020 saying that the Wait List for those starting 07/2020 was closing. It's interesting that they kept it open so long. I think they wait until all students are set to start before they close
  17. Hi! I was put on the wait list last year for this school specifically. So, there are two wait lists. A) Wait List Pending Open Seat -- this means you are in the top wait list category and if a seat opens they will look at you first. B) Wait List - which is a large group of students that would have to wait for students in the Wait List Pending Open Seat category to be cleared out in order to even get a shot at an open seat. The Wait List Pending Open Seat does have an order if I'm not mistaken. For example, you could be number 3 in line. Whilst, the Wait List group are not in order. Just a bott
  18. Thanks for answering this. Didn't mean to scare anyone. Sorry, I'm use to supplemental applications being more about additional personal statements and what not. As long as the grad app is done, we are all good!
  19. I went on an interview last year and it was an MMI format. This year might be a little different since its through Zoom but we'll see!
  20. They are only accepted through CASPA. Were your letters recently via CASPA? I know it can take a minute for them to be pushed to the schools and then the schools to show them updated in your portal. If not, I would give CASPA and the school a call ASAP. Just to be safe.
  21. CASPA verified 6/21 NAU grad application submitted 6/22 Acknowledgement from NAU that my grad app has been officially submitted 6/29 Email from NAU stating I have met the min. requirements and moving to the next level of review 7/14
