  1. I was able to find a PA to shadow by asking my doctor at the clinic I go to. It’s all about who you know. Once getting the opportunity to shadow one PA, they may give you names of other PAs and recommend you to them to shadow. Another option is to comprise a list of all of the clinics around where you live. Call/ email all of them and inquire. The worst that can happen is they say no and you can move on. All it takes is one to say yes for doors to start opening for you. I’ve also heard of a lot of people making connections at hospitals they’ve volunteered at and asked about shadowin
  2. Hello everyone! I’m a first time applicant applying to mainly PA programs in New York. If anyone has any info on New York schools (shooting for long island schools- stony brook, touro, hofstra,) with similar stats, please let me know. With CASPA opening around the corner, I’m getting a little anxious. I plan on applying as early as possible, mid-may latest. 21 (F) Major- B.S. in Bioscience, graduated 12/20 cGPA~ 3.65-3.67 sGPA~ 3.55-3.57 GRE- not required for any programs I will be applying to PCE~ 3000 hours as a medical assistant at endocrinology private practice
