  1. The Admission Committee believes to be successful in a PA Program, applicants must have a good overall experience and understanding of the physician assistant profession. The best way to have exposure to the profession is through shadowing and mentoring of a PA-C. For this reason, the programs feels strongly that all applicants submit a letter of recommendation from a PA-C. We understand and sympathize with the challenges of COVID-19 for applicants. However, the PA program is not changing our admission requirements for this CASPA cycle.
  2. You do not need to send a separate transcript and GRE scores for the FGCU graduate application. We are able to retrieve your information from CASPA.

  4. GRE scores only need to be sent through CASPA. You do not need to send a second copy to FGCU.

  6. The FGCU graduate fall 2021 applications will be available soon. You can submit the FGCU application after the CASPA application.
  7. The FGCU Physician Assistant Program is pleased to announce our CASPA application cycle will open June 1, 2020 and close January 15, 2021. We have not made any changes to our program admission requirements or prerequisites this cycle.   8. At this point we have been directed not to conduct additional campus interviews. The faculty are evaluating our options for admissions at this time.
  9. Good afternoon, thank you for your patience during these challenging times. FGCU, like most colleges and universities, has transitioned to virtual learning and students are not on campus and faculty/staff are working remote from home. We are no longer conducting any additional interviews. We are beginning to make admission offers but the process may be a bit slower this year. We thank you for your understanding.
  10. The MPAS program has a 95% PANCE first-time pass rate.
  11. We appreciate all of your questions about Florida Gulf Coast University. We have not changed any of our admission requirements for this current CASPA application cycle. Our CASPA application cycle is open until January 15, 2020. Please note, all program prerequisites must be completed and submitted by the close of applications. Review of applications will begin November 2019. Interviews for selected candidates will occur January through March 2020. Applicants will also need to submit a supplemental application to the FGCU Graduate School https://www.fgcu.edu/admissionsandaid/graduateadmissions/ . Copies of transcripts and GRE scores DO NOT need to be forwarded with the Graduate School application. We are able to view those documents from your CASPA application.
