  2. Hello! I am currently in my didactic year of PA school and had a question for all of you who have made the transition to clinicals (and even beyond that!) already. Although right now Im just focusing on getting through this 2nd didactic semester () , I was wondering how you prepared all of your notes/ information from didactic year to study from during clinicals. I know that in clinical year is constant reviewing/ studying, but I was wondering if anyone had specific techniques of organizing all of the didactic notes? A girl in my cohort prints all her study guides/ notes for each test in

  4. So i’m here asking the question everyone asks and everyone says to not care about, but how important is your gpa during PA school? and what is a competitive gpa i should shoot for? Depending on how this clin med final goes, i’ll either be at a 3.5 or 3.8. is a 3.5 still competitive let me say: im focusing on completley knowing everything i can rather than just trying to get As but like most people, I’m type A and want to succeed. I do know that what makes me a good provider is my knowledge and understanding rather than a transcript! I just also want to be a competitive applicant when ap

  6. Hello, I had a quick question regarding when people buy scrubs. I am currently in my didactic year and was wondering if I should ask for some nice pairs of scrubs for Christmas (or if it is too early to get them?). Does it matter what color scrubs you get? I am just wondering if I should start building up my scrubs now OR are you supposed to wait till you have a job and know what color you're supposed to get? What did you do/ do you recommend? Thanks. Sorry if this is a dumb question - its one of those that I'm too embarrassed to ask my classmates because it feels common knowledge!

  8. Hello I will be attending Wingate in August and was wondering if someone could help me with 2 questions I had. Is the first year orientation on the main campus for both campuses? I am enrolled for the Hendersonville campus and wondering if we will have one on our campus instead. Also, I will be staying in Greenvile (South Carolina) rather than living in Hendersonville. In my interview they kept telling me I could live in Greenville and commute and then do my clincal hours there. Do they have connections to place me in Greenville hospitals or would I need to find my own doctors here t
  9. same! has anyone made a facebook group for hendersonville yet?
  10. when hearing back about an interview, did you guys receive your results via phone call or an email?
  11. Also, would anyone who has interviewed already like to offer any details about format?? I know there is MMI and interview, but wondering if someone could offer other insight! Goodluck to everyone
