  1. Solid advice to moderate what you say on these forums. However, the way you said it comes off as disrespectful. If you're going to stress someone out by doing something like this at least tag/quote them to show who you're trying to call out Also, if a school loses your application they should refund you. They are providing a service. And, if they lose a digital application then they should reimburse you for that service. I think that schools should be required to respond to their prospective students in some capacity. We pay them, and they (for all we know) could never even glanc
  2. I applied again solely for the reason that my Fiance is in med school in Denver. If I get into anschutz I'll skip RVU, but I don't want to leave town if I can help it. So, I applied to most of them in CO.
  3. This school loves to ghost people. They say that "you'll receive news one way or the other" but there were many of us last cycle who didn't. Silent rejection is a very real thing. Can't grab students' cash as easily if they know people are being rejected.
  4. I believe it is for healthcare. But, you can always call and ask for clarification!
  5. I thought they started sending out interviews mid to late July last cycle. So far though, nada.
  6. Hello, all. Didn't find this one so I figured I'd get it rolling. I think this is the correct way to make this.
  7. Just use common sense, and make sure you can type fast enough. The CASPer site has a practice test I believe! The pro and con to CASPer is that you'll never know how you did, so it's one of those things that is mostly out of your hands. Literally all you can do is try your best! Hope this helps
  8. Yes. And, if you still want to attend later there are multiple dates and times! In lieu of in-person sessions, the program will be offering virtual sessions. If you are interested in signing up for a virtual general information session please email Teri Coe at tcoe@rvu.edu. Please include your name, date of the session you would like to attend and the email address you would like to receive the link to participate. Thursday, April 30th - 8:30 - 9:30 am Thursday, May 28th - 1:00 - 2:00 pm Thursday, June 25th - 1:00 - 2:00 pm Thursday, July 23rd -
  9. I'm going to their information forum on Thursday, June 25th - 1:00 - 2:00 pm. If there is a Q&A portion, I'll ask.
  10. Likewise! All materials submitted and received 05-12-20, verified 05-14-20.
  11. Got an email saying they just verified all of my stuff and got my casper score today (05-28). Here were all my dates... Submitted 05-11, verified 05-14, CASPer on 05-07 Monday, November 9th in Salt Lake City Saturday, November 14th in St. George Monday, November 16th in Salt Lake City Friday, November 20th in Salt Lake City If we are invited to get an interview we will be assigned one of these interview dates. They do not use rolling admissions. Good luck!
  12. Has anyone heard anything after submitting their application?
  13. Nope! It's their first year requiring it, and for RVU applying earlier seems to give a better advantage than doing their recommended stuff.
  14. Supplemental Application received today. 05-19-20 It's $100.
  15. I went with the "unique" life experience approach. I'm hard of hearing, so i explained how that came about, what it meant for my development, and how it shaped my personality/communicative ability. I flipped that communicative deficit into a strength and explained how it would help me as a PA.
  16. Hello, all. Starting this so that there is a thread going. Hope I'm doing this right! Good luck everyone!
  17. posting so I get updates. Submitted 05-11, verified 05-14, CASPer on 05-07
  18. I'm going to be honest. The deadlines these programs say is to get more money from people whose applications will not be looked at. For example. I applied six weeks before the deadline for a program last cycle, and was told after the cycle that the reason I never heard back was that it was a week too late. I would say call the program and ask. Because, the coordinator for mine told me June 15th, when the deadline was September 1st. But, it all varies from program to program.
  19. I submitted 8-12 or something like that, and received the supplemental the same day. Feeling silently rejected at the moment. Peace out to my people who've heard nothing. It's pretty great!
  20. How long after paying the fee did it take most people to get an interview (if you got one)?
