  1. They called and told me directly over the phone. If you were being denied you won’t hear anything except for a letter, so a phone call most likely means great news !
  2. Great ! Thank you for responding ! What would you suggest for someone who has a low GRE score and a noticeable struggle in math over the years ? basically my math has struggled in the past and I redeemed myself this past spring by retaking college algebra and getting an A as well as getting all good grades in chemistry etc. But afterwards I took my GRE in June and my quantitative portion still struggled and that was my second attempt at the GRE. Nova Jax had me write a statement attached to my application explaining my struggles and why I thought I would still make a good candidate . luckily I received an interview but am now worried on how to address this struggle/situation without sounding like I didn’t try my absolute hardest . I hope that in my interview we don’t focus solely on my GRE scores and math but unfortunately in my last nova interview that was literally all the interviewers discussed . Any incite would be greatly appreciated . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My interview is coming up this week and I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on the layout of the interview . I interviewed at nova ft.laud and we had a group exercise , panel interview and tour. Is it the same for Jacksonville?
  4. Does anyone know if the class is full now ? or are there still seats? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Sure, gpa 3.7, science gpa 3.4, 500 hours patient care as dental assistant . 140 Hours shadowing PA’s, about 100 healthcare hours between dental volunteering and volunteering at free clinic . GRE wasn’t good I got a 293, bombed the quantitative but did good in the rest . strong letters of recommendation from two pa’s , and a dentist . I’m not the perfect candidate but Managed to get two interviews before this and waitlisted on one of the schools. Hoping for the best .
  6. I can’t remember the exact date but I applied at the end of June and by around July 7th it was received and verified I think.
  7. Just got an interview invite today for January 9th. I had honestly lost hope that I was going to get an interview here so I’m so excited that I did !
  8. Well it’s pretty straight forward . You do the group part first then wait while each person has a 20-30 minute individual interview. that part takes hours so your basically just waiting. Then you get an overview of the school and go on a tour and that’s it, so the challenging part is the individual interview bc that’s the main part . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The topic is like a moral/ ethical question. You will be with a group of 5 or 6 total students and you discuss the question , agree on which side your on and one person presents the conclusion to the interviewers . They are in the room when you and your peers discuss the question together. That part is easy and not stressful . The question is common sense . It helps break the ice , there’s no right or wrong answer. I think they mainly wanna see how you participate in a team effort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. They sent me this but I’m getting dropped off at the front . I’ll try to find the email. My name is Vanessa . So I’ll see you tomorrow !!
  11. Yeah I honestly don’t even know how it was possible for other people to complete it faster. I literally did it within the first 5 seconds after the clock struck 10am and still couldn’t secure a spot. This reminds me of Black Friday ...... see who can order the tv the fastest ....
