  1. Any news on waitlisted candidates? Has anyone got accepted off the waitlist recently?
  2. Thanks for responding! Appreciate it! Do you know how many candidates on an average get accepted off the waitlist? Also how many do they actually waitlist?
  3. Does anyone have an idea until when does the program call the waitlisted candidates? I know the decision letter states that we can hear from them until the first day of the program but I want to know if this has ever happened for real. Has anyone been accepted on the first day of the program or a day before starting?
  4. Did anyone hear from Prof. Yozzo? or anyone who got interviewed by Prof. Yozzo and received a call from someone else today?
  5. She didn’t name the faculty. I was interviewed by Prof. Yozzo!
  6. I enquired Jami, she said one of the faculty was not available today so expect some phone calls tomorrow. Also the portal should get updated by tomorrow. Guess they would end their first 50 invites tomorrow.
  7. Thank you! That makes every 4th person getting accepted (on an average)!
  8. Any idea how many they interviewed this year? 150 or 200?
  9. I agree! Need some inputs about how to prepare for the essay and group activity. I get interviewed on Dec 03!
  10. Got an invite too! Will try to seek Jan 18 slot. Anyone planning to be there on the same day?
  11. Does anyone know what is their interview format? Like group interview, one-on-one, any write up on-site, etc.? Also how many candidates do they normally interview? Trying to know my chances of getting in being an out-of-state candidate. Any insights about the interview will be really appreciated! Thank you!

  13. Thank you very much! This is sooooooo sooo helpful! Really appreciate all the details shared! I too have been trying to get accepted in PA program for the last 3 years but was only applying to one school. I am an international candidate so I had to repeat all my pre-reqs to be able to apply to other programs out of state. I live in Oklahoma, have fairly OK GPA, lots of patient and health care experience, lots of volunteering and shadowing hours. I have been interviewed before in Oklahoma program, but since this is my first time to apply out of state I am slightly tensed. What freaks me out is the group activity. Although I am not an introvert kind of a person, I am tensed if it is something technical that I may not know. Sometimes I do feel out of place in a group especially about things that are common here but I am unaware of it. I hope I do have the interview first so I could concentrate on other activities later. Did they also ask you to write something? Like an on-site essay or something? If yes, what did they ask you to write on?
