  1. Hi, current first year here! Sorry for the late response, I decided to take a break from studying today to look at this forum. The reason for the low pass rates that year is because that was when the program transitioned from the medical school to the nursing school. From what I've heard, it was a rough transition. Since then, they have made many changes including getting a new program director Dr. Pearl. He is really receptive to feed back and has made many positive changes since he took over about a year ago. PANCE pass rates have remained pretty stable in the 90s in the past few years, even with the new revamped PANCE that debuted last year. Davis has been teaching the types of classes from the beginning that the new PANCE and ARC-PA standards are now encouraging. There are some programs that had pass rates of 99% that dropped to the 70s last year because they did not teach these types of classes. Of course not everything is perfect in the program all the time, but I'm sure every program has its flaws. Overall, Davis has a fantastic program and I can't imagine being anywhere else.
  2. Hi guys. I am a current student at this program. I am a little over half a quarter in. The way that Davis picks their students is a little bit different than most schools. The main purpose of the interview is to get a general sense of your personality, make sure you'll fit in with the culture of the program, and look for any "red flags." The secondary is your chance to really shine and tell them what makes you unique.
  3. Waitlist acceptances are going out. I was accepted off the waitlist yesterday! If you are on the waitlist, try not to dispair. There is still hope!
  4. Congratulations to everyone that got an interview for 10/12. Sounds like those of us who interviewed on 9/7 are still waiting to hear back, or at least I am! The suspense is killing me.
  5. I received an interview invite for September 7th as well! Can't wait to meet everyone there! sGPA of 3.63 and overall GPA of 3.68. ~3000 hours as a CNA and over 50 hours shadowing PAs.
