  1. Congrats!!! I know you were nervous about receiving an invite in your previous posts
  2. Just gave up interview spot. This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make as the University of Lynchburg was one of my favorite programs. However, I have already received an acceptance to a program that I just can’t say no to. I really hope that this gives someone the news they want to hear. This program is so impressive! The fact that you can earn a DMSc is incredible. Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear back!
  3. After 2 waitlists and 1 rejection post interview I just got accepted to my top choice ,and honestly from that I’ve gathered it’s more about fit than anything. I said the same stuff in the same way pretty much at every interview (eh maybe not the first that was a little rocky lol) and I believe the reason I was finally accepted is because my values perfectly aligned with what the school also valued. Because of that I agree with the previous advice of trying out new schools. Really take the time to think about what you want to get out of your PA education and how you want to practice medicine. A lot of your experience seems to be related to helping others learn how to help themselves and counseling and empowerment, so maybe try to find a school that values patient centered care and becoming a compassionate provider. I think that your work experience sets you apart from other applicants so I would really play that up! Best of luck to you!!!
  4. I am giving up my January interview spot so hoping this gives someone the news they want to hear! best of luck to everyone!
  5. GOT THE CALL!! Accepted into the ELP I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy!!!! interviewed 11/5 good luck to everyone waiting to hear!!
  6. Has anyone received the confirmation for their interview via email after they RSVP’d?
  7. Interview experience was great! Group interview was challenging but not intimidating (just know how to work as a team and have a discussion!) and during the individual interview the atmosphere was very relaxed and personal. Best of luck to you!! I’m currently on the waitlist and would be very excited to end up with an acceptance ?
  8. I am from VA! What about you? and thanks! Best of luck to you!!
  9. Just got my interview invite for 12/14 on 10/29! Supplemental confirmed on 10/3. I am the happiest person ever right now ?
  10. Hi I’ll try to be as helpful as I can. From what I understand- and this may be wrong- receiving the supplemental already shows they are interested in you (if I’m wrong someone let me know but I believe that not everyone gets the supplemental). I know an current student and she thinks that interviews will most likely be conducted in December and we will know if we are granted one sometime in November. I can’t be the judge of the typo affecting your application but if it was a solid paper otherwise I would hope the admissions committee would be understanding! I understand that fear though because this process is sooooo competitive and it seems that every little thing counts. Best of luck to you getting into school!
  11. @mkmurphy93 I got an email confirmation 2 days after submitting! When did you submit yours was it closer to the deadline?
  12. Received an interview invite this past Friday and I will be attending 11/4! My supplemental was verified 8/4 hope that helps everyone waiting to hear ?
  13. Me too but I’m trying to stay positive and remember it’s not a rejection! Best of luck to you during this very tough yet exciting process!
  14. Didn’t realize it was a holiday whoops!? and best of luck to you too!
