  1. Hey, I rotated at Intermountain with Gen Surgery and got to shadow a Trauma APP (that's who the fellow works with). They are an outstanding group of people. The general surgery side speaks highly of all the APP's and it's recognized that they really run the trauma service. I worked with the fellow and he said he definitely didn't regret doing the program, and they also have a former fellow still working there who also said the experience was priceless. Trauma APPs manage both the ICU side, as well as the floor trauma patients, run the traumas, can assist in the OR, pretty much do it all. The trauma surgeons are smart and from my (albeit short) interactions with them are down to teach and would make a point to show me imaging, ask me questions, and make sure I was as involved as possible. I think Intermountain as a whole is a great place to learn because it definitely gets the volume and is accustomed to being a teaching facility. I was bummed I went there after the deadline for the fellowship application, but am planning on applying next cycle. Also, former fellows here now are working in major EDs in San Diego and another one runs an ED in SC I think? They haven't had any issues with finding work.
  2. Has anyone on here had any experience with Baylor's EM Fellowship? I'll be interviewing in two weeks for it and am curious to hear any feedback about it. Thank you!
  3. Hi! I'm also looking for a women's health rotation in FL and would love any recommendations! Thank you!
  4. Hello! I know this is a long shot, especially with everything going on with Covid, but I am hoping to find a women's health rotation in NC, SC, or Central/North Florida! I'm currently in R1 of my clinical year and would be looking to fill my R4 rotation from Jn 11th-Mid Feb (~4 weeks). Thank you!
  5. HI! I'm in my didactic year and am wanting to do an additional rotation in Psych, but am also wondering about Psych residencies? I have seen quite a few for EM and Surgery, but haven't come across anything in the forum regarding this. Does anyone have any experience with this? Particularly in Florida. Thanks!
  6. I am also interested in this for next year, so if you end up making any connections, I would love to know! Thanks!
  7. Hi all, After searching through the forum, I have come across a lot of great info on UNE and Doane, but not much on UC San Diego in regards to Biochem. Has anyone taken it? Thank you!
  8. Same boat, but definitely glad to have heard back and feel like I have a set plan for the future. Felt like I was in a very expensive limbo paying for one program not having heard back from another. Best of luck to the Campbell class of 2021 and to all those on wait-list!
  9. I received an invite to the virtual fair but haven't heard anything back from them about my application..[emoji58] Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk

  11. That's awesome! Congrats! I interviewed at Meridian and did the tour before, which I recommend because it helped calm my nerves just walking around and seeing everything/got me more excited about the program. The tour guide also worked really hard to make it fun and comfortable so we could relax. The interviews themselves were laidback as well and it seemed more like they want to get to know you, not trip you up or ask tricky questions! I felt comfortable and not judged; it really was a case of just trying to show them personality and why you want to be there. So as cliche as it is, just be yourself! You'll do great! 12. So I saw tht you were accepted 2017. How has the experience been for you so far?
  13. So as I understand it, the availability of slots is totally dependent on the FY? I've seen some threads saying that HSPS was no longer available for PA's and it was switching to the VA scholarship? Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
