  4. I recently found a volunteer opportunity at doctor's office and they are willing to train me as medical assistant and receptionist. They will let me do the vitals- blood pressure, oxygen level, height & weight and heart rate. I can count that as clinical experience right? Please let me know.

  6. I am not sure. I think I am going to administer medication and document that. I will ask them if I will take vitals or measure glucose level. Thank you for your reply.

  8. Hello I am planning to work as Direct Support Professional until I finish EMT training and find EMT job. Below will be my job responsibility: Working in a residential/group home and/or day services setting Interacting in a manner that promotes respect and learning, supports goals, follows the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Communicating with team members through daily verbal and electronic reports on progress and daily activities of those enrolled in the program Monitoring and administering medication Prompting or assisting with personal care activities including showering and toileting Utilizing de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques (training provided) Accompanying people on medical appointments, recreational outings and vocational activities. Can I count that as patient contact hours? Please let me know. Thank you
