  1. I'm starting rotations in about a month, and I was wondering if it's appropriate to hand out business cards or resumes to clinical preceptors? I hope it's not frowned upon by preceptors. My goal for clinical year is to not only pass EORs, but to also network and potentially land a job before graduation (July 2021). Thank you
  2. BHW allows you to upload additional supporting documents, so upload your additional transcript attachments that way.
  3. Don't give up on PA school. Yes, your family will be apart but this is just a sacrifice you will have to make in order to give your new child a great life. I don't have children so my opinion may not be worth listening too, but I come from a military family and our family lived apart for a while but it was just temporary so that my brothers and I can have a bright future.
  4. Do you know any students who are using the Microsoft Surface Pro? If so, I was wondering if the exam software runs properly?
  5. I got a call today and I've been accepted!
  6. Apply to more schools and practice your group interview skills (or people skills...whichever). Good luck!
  7. I got in with a cGPA 3.2 and sGPA 2.99 my first cycle. Anything is possible and you'll never know unless you put yourself out there and apply. Focus on programs that look at applicants holistically and make sure your personal statement is a killer. Good luck!
  8. When did you start your application for the HPSP? An Air Force recruiter told me it opens in March each year, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. What type of materials does the application entail?
  9. The application is closed. I guess it'll open back up in March? Could be wrong, and the application will be posted on USAjobs.gov when available.
  10. I got into PA school with cGPA of 3.2 and a sGPA of 2.99 my first cycle. I believe my personal statement, PCE hours, and shadowing experience is what got me in. Apply to programs that look at applicants holistically. Good luck!
  11. Hello All! I was recently accepted into PA school and contacted a few recruiters, and I am being told that the application has closed and won't open up until March 2019. Has anyone else been told this same information? I come from a military family and so I know how recruiters operate by not sharing full and accurate information. Would anyone happen to know what the usually application cycle timeline looks like and what I should be doing to prepare for the application to open in March 2019, if this is in fact true. Thank you!
  12. I would express to her how important this interview is or ask if you can take the final sooner...before Dec 7th.
  13. I'll be there. I'm assuming it's casual? But I will most likely dress business casual since I'll be getting off work right before the social.
