I got in! Class of 2022!!
Maylily7 replied to kadoifnosfin92's topic in MASSACHUSETTS: Westfield State University
RELAX! You got into PA School that's so hard to do! Focus on getting ready for school in regards to housing and such, but don't study or try to get ahead. You'll be studying for the next 2 years, enjoy this free time while you can. Like my other classmate mentioned above (1madmamma I miss you!) spend time with friends and family and even go on a nice vacation, as you won't be able to these next 2 years. I went to Japan for 2 weeks and am so happy I got to enjoy myself and relax before diving head first into this program. -

Current student. They had stepped down from their director role, they are still a professor at the program and still teach lectures. This professor is also still my advisor and I have had no issues reaching out and talking to her. The faculty is awesome, they truly want you to succeed and will do anything in their power to ensure you do. Im honestly happy coming to this school because I feel genuinely supported as a student. -

As a current didactic student, there is only 2 interview dates, one of which already passed.

Hello! I need some advice, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated! I’m debating about sending my application for this school but since it is rolling admissions, am I already too late to receive an interview invite or acceptance should i apply and meet the criteria? Or will I still have a decent chance applying this late in the cycle? Here are my stats: Biology Major with minors in Psych and Chem, cGPA 3.7 sGPA 3.6 , 3 honor societies, academic excellence award, about 400 hours HCE as a one to one in an emergency dept, 1500+ hours as an EMT, GRE 304 (_ _).。o thanks so much!

Maylily7 replied to mcdiet18's topic in RHODE ISLAND: Johnson & Wales University
Hello! I applied/was verified 2 weeks ago and got an email in regards to making sure the prereqs were done and they will check theyre complete before reviewing the application. My question is, will I be notified when I’m under faculty review or will I only be notified if I get an interview? Thanks! -
Complete on 6/6, hopefully I get an interview! Think I stand a chance? GRE 309, cGPA 3.7, sGPA 3.6, research experience, deans list all semesters, academic excellence award in my major, three honor societies, PCE 1400 and counting as an EMT, HCE about 200 as an ED 1:1. Volunteered about 120 hours w my campus EMS and 18 hours shadowing Good luck to all!

Hello! I know this post is stereotypical and repetitive and I apologize, but feedback would be very appreciative Stats are below, should I apply this cycle? Or wait till next year? I’m currently on my first gap year. cGPA: 3.7, sGPA 3.6 bio major with minirs in psych and chem, in 3 national honor societies (psych, bio, chem), academic award in my major, Dean’s list every semester Presented original research at 2 colleges By mid march I will have about 1000 PCE hours as an EMT I also started a per diem HCE job as a patient sitter in the ED. GRE is between 295-299 (can’t remember exact number), thinking of retaking If it helps, during college I have about 120 hours as a volunteer crew member for my school’s EMS unit If I’m forgetting something, let me know! Again thanks so much, I know how annoying these posts can be sometimes and I appreciate you taking the time to read this have an awesome day!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone accepted into this program could share or message their application stats (gpa, HCE...), I want to know whether, if I were to apply I could be considered a competitive applicant. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your time, I appreciate it a lot! -Maylily7 -

Hello! Thank you for reading this and thank you for your time, I appreciate it a lot! -Maylily7 P.S. I'll put my stats here if ya want to comment on my chances of acceptance: cGPA 3.7, sGPA 3.5, Dean's List 7/8 semesters (currently in my last semester), about 100 hours volunteering for my school's EMS. I don't have a lot of Patient care hours but I am hoping to take a gap year and work on that. I also hope to retake the GRE to improve my score as well. Again, thanks so much!

Also, if you could put the schools you were accepted into/chose to go that would be great! Also, if there is a recent thread with accepted students stats you're more than welcome to send me or comment the link. Thanks so much! -Maylily7
