  1. Lots of people will give you opinions about decisions they wont have to live with. Is the first semester of PA school going to be hard no matter where you go? Yes. Is it doable? I think it is if you are willing to sacrifice sleep, social life, or money, etc. You will be busy and not have much time to do anything but study and care for your child, which is perfectly ok. It's your decision and you and your family are the ones that will have to live with it. Take some time to make your decision and be ready to tackle any obstacles you sign up for. You can do it !!
  2. I would not waste your time. Enjoy all the free time that you have while you are not in school. You will regret it if you don't take full advantage. Go on a vacation, enjoy doing absolutely nothing..
  3. Completed most of my prerequisites at a community college and received close to ten interviews and I am in currently in PA school. Maximize your community college experience and get close with some of your professors for a possible TA position and even a future letter of rec !
  4. I am so excited and grateful that I have been accepted to NSU Ft. Myers for the upcoming class in 2018. I have also been accepted to NSU JAX and need to make a decision soon and make a deposit. I would like to hear from current/past students about their experience at NSU Ft. Myers. How was the didactic year in regards of a supportive faculty and overall teaching? Were most of your clinical rotations in the Ft. Myers area? If not, which cities surrounding Ft.Myers were clinical rotations set up? Were clinical rotation assignments handled pretty organized by staff? I would like to hear everyone's opinions about this campus, please include anything you would like. Thank you !!

At the interview they mentioned they had contracts with Mayo Clinic, Baptist Medical Center, etc. which seemed like a real positive part of the program to have the chance to get good exposure/experience at big hospitals. I was very impressed with the campus when interviewing and it seemed like it was a very non-competitive/family environment, which I like. I would like to hear everyone's opinions about this campus, please include anything you would like. Thank you !!
