  1. Hey everyone, First of all, for those who have heard back, congratulations on your acceptance! For those still waiting, I'm sorry for your frustration, but don't lose hope--it's not over until you've officially received notification stating otherwise. Unfortunately I also know nothing about how they're handling the admission process this year, but I'm positive that, like the entirety of PA education everywhere, there's a method behind the madness. I'm the interview/orientation chair of the Class of 2020 and I just wanted to come on here and say I'm open to being a resource for anyone
  2. Hey everyone, First of all, congratulations to all who have been accepted! We're so incredibly excited to have you join the Wayne State PA family! In terms of further communication, last year we received relatively immediate notification once the office received our deposit. After that, it wasn't until the second week of January that we received the email with our orientation date & information. There will be a ton of information in that packet with some things you need to take care of before you start the program, so make sure you read it thoroughly! Sometime near the end of Jan
  3. Hey everyone, Congratulations again to all of those who were invited to interview this cycle! We hope you had a great experience and that you left Wayne State knowing whether or not it would be a good fit if you were to be accepted! Our class was fortunate enough to have found out Nov. 1 (so exactly 14 days from the first interview date), but since there are a couple of individual alternate interviews that still need to be done/evaluated, I would expect it to be anywhere from 2-3 weeks! Best of luck as you all wait, and never hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Go Warriors!
  4. I was also accepted today! Congratulations to everyone and I'm super excited to meet you all!
  5. It's bittersweet, but I just gave up my seat, Global Studies Scholarship and Graduate Assistantship from the Delaware campus after being accepted to my top choice today! Hopefully this will bring good news to one (or a few) of you! Arcadia is a phenomenal program and congrats on everyone who's received acceptance! Good luck to everyone else still waiting to hear back from all your programs!
  6. I think I gave out some false information when I said this! When referring back to their website (and last year's forum posts), they interview into February and I believe they sent out interview invites up until early December last year! So don't give up hope!
  7. According to their website, they will be holding 4 interview dates total on the following days: September 23, 2017 October 21, 2017 November 4, 2017 November 18, 2017 Also, if their process is similar to most other schools, there's a pretty good chance that all initial invites for the 9/23 interview have been sent out. However, if people turn down the invite, more spots may be made available.
  8. Thank you! PCE: 1,321 hrs (EMT & CNA) HCE: 42 hrs (International volunteer) Shadow: 46 hrs GRE: Verbal - 157, Quant. - 158, Writing - 5.0 GPA: Overall - 3.98, Science - 3.96 Current senior finishing last year of undergraduate.
  9. Submitted CASPA: July 9 File is Complete Confirmation: July 13 Continued Consideration E-mail: August 17 Interview Invite: August 30 When I chose the interview date, the 11/17 afternoon option was the only one left, so I'm assuming (based on what was said in prior posts in this thread) that within the next few days, all initial interview offers will be sent out and people will start getting notification of whether or not they'll be waitlisted to interview.
