Opportunity for clinic time if desired. OR time if desired but not necessary. Census 10-35. Average around 15-20. PM for my cell to discuss further. Not big on texting, rather talk in person/phone.

  3. I'm honestly not sure. Brand new to this. I have a decent CME expense stipend (5k per year) so I have a lot of wiggle room. Could probably attend some multiple day conferences. I'm a trauma/acs PA.
  4. Hello everyone, Just looking for some resources or links regarding obtaining category 1 CMEs. Conferences or whatever you guys suggest. Thanks.
  5. I'm available. Trauma/General surgery at a trauma center in North Atlanta.
  6. I would suggest finding something you are interested in and ensure you take all the pre-requisite courses for the schools you plan on applying to. Prior to applying to PA school, you should focus on obtaining hands on clinical experience, maintaining a decent GPA, and building your knowledge of the basic sciences. The title on your degree doesn’t matter and likely will not be taken in to account as long as your have completed the prerequisite class work.
  7. My program provided us with the PowerPoint slides prior to class. So I would skim the slides before hand, then use the notes section at the bottom or added in pearls in a different color within the slide itself. Long story short, I tried notability, Evernote, and Microsoft OneNote but ended up really enjoying PowerPoint. It seemed like everyone in class was using something different, so try some things out!
