  1. I agree the program seemed amazing!! The interview itself was the most amazing laid back interview I’ve ever been to, ( about 5 total ) they had some standard questions that they HAD to ask such as behavioral type questions ( google them if u don’t know what they are) but other than that they really just want to know why u want to be a PA and what your future aspirations are as a PA. They want to know that you are a good fit for the program. If your they will see it and it will be obvious and if not then you weren’t meant to go there anyway. Be yourself, be honest, and relax! You’ll love the entire day there!! I was accepted but am turning it down because I was accepted to my first choice. Good luck to those still interviewing !!!
  2. I was wondering the same thing! A person who is in the program now said any laptop will work and she personally has a dell, but I am interested to see what others are going to use.
  3. Get there early. As soon as they open up the auditorium they let u start writing the essay. The sooner you get there the more time you have for the essay. I don’t think I would have had trouble with the essay either way but having more time def let’s you be more relaxed and not feel rushed. Like Lexii said, breathe and just relax during the interview. You only have about 15 min so make sure you say everything u want to say but don’t talk too fast. They will more than likely ask you why you want to be a PA with the first question, or some variation of it; tell us about yourself. Take this opportunity to say everything you want to say during the interview about why u want to be a PA and what ur long term goals are as pa. During this response u may even try to answer some typical anticipated questions like “ why not NP” or where do you see yourself in 5 years. After my response to their initial question they only asked me one more question and that was “ how do u handle stress”. I figured I had answered most of their questions with my initial response. The rest of the interview was just chatting which was nice. Don’t overthink anything, be honest you’ll be fine.
  4. I felt the same way. I couldn’t wait any longer so I called them and they said I got my campus of choice but then I got an email a few days later saying that I’m offered acceptance to Harrisburg campus and I got the tuition deposit info in that email.
  5. Anyone who recently got accepted choosing Harrisburg campus? Wanting to see who will be at Harrisburg with me!
  6. Mine was online but I did it at west Chester university during undergrad
  7. Also, from prior years it seems as though people were all hearing back around the same time whether they were accepted or not so I’m thinking they just haven’t gotten back to people yet
  8. I’m getting extremely nervous too! Also, I emailed them to ask about where they want me to send my transcripts for summer classes and they haven’t even replied to that email ...
  9. Seems like no one really has heard back yet so no news is still good news! Looking at previous year threads on here it looks like a lot of people heard back in less than a week so I’m hoping to hear something soon
  10. Def don’t give up. This is my 4th year applying. I finally got accepted and turned out to be the absolute best school for me and my current life situation. Not saying it will take u that long but if this is something u really want then don’t give up. It will all be worth it.
