  1. Good luck with interviews!! I’m a current ELP student at Wake, so I’ll be joining your upcoming PA class of 2021! If you have any questions feel free to reach out :)

  4. I recommend using this website. When I applied to PA schools I took some dedicated time to look through all of the programs that I knew I could apply to (met all of the pre-reqs). Since I did not take medical terminology or abnormal psychology. I was able to narrow down my schools and really take the time to look into them. I recommend doing your own research when it comes to PA schools. Each program is unique! And so are you. http://directory.paeaonline.org Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I think that your capstone experience will help you stand out when applying to PA schools. Just because you don’t get assigned a healthcare related internship doesn’t mean you can’t go out of your way and maybe volunteer at a local clinic while in China. If you’re driven enough, there’s no limit to what you can experience while abroad. I remember getting ready to graduate college and wanting to expedite my PA journey as much as possible. But of course life doesn’t always go as planned and I ended up taking two years to work on my health care experience. One year in a clinic, and the other in a hospital ER. I am definitely glad that I took the time to experience the “real-world” before applying to PA school. I matured, gained life experience, and had a much easier time during interviews because I had so many situations that I could draw from. I was accepted to PA school this cycle and I’m more than ready to get back to the study routine! Time away from school has actually given me even more “momentum” to be able to start fresh with a motivated attitude. I think your capstone year will open doors to new experiences, possibly health care related possibly not, but in the end more experience! And that will definitely help you become a stronger applicant when you’re ready to apply! Just my thoughts. I find great value in global experiences. Good luck!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I withdrew my application from Arcadia’s PA program (was waitlisted) due to having been accepted to my top choice!! For those of you still waiting to hear back, my best advice is to be patient! If it’s meant to be it will happen :) Arcadia was one of my top choices and I would have loved to attend their program!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
