  1. I am a new grad, and I have applied to a cardiology and surgery. So far, I have only reached the level of talking to the recruiters. I have no idea what to expect in the interviews with the providers. I am so new to all this. I tried searching for interview links, but no luck so far. I have only stumbled on PA school interviews.
  2. Has anyone done hospital medicine residency? Does anyone know have any information as to how I can pursue one?
  3. I am in my second year of PA school. I am currently finishing up my elective which was in cardiology and I really liked it. I would like some advise on following this field.I had couple of questions and was wondering if someone can address them for me. 1. Is it good to do a fellowship before applying for a job? How hard is it to get a job in cardiology? And how do I make myself look good on my resume? 2. I did hear about piedmont residency in Georgia. Is there any other residencies that I can apply to? Is it very competitive? 3. Should I wait until I am certified to apply for re
  4. This is a great post as I am going to be in this situation in a couple of months. My school is almost going to be 2 hours away, and I do not think commuting is going to work for me. Thought about it a lot. I rather stay there for a year and finish off my didactics. For clinical year, I plan to commute from home. Thinking of hiring a part time babysitter for after school hours. It is just not school loans for me but I do have to think of additional cost like babysitters too. Has any one hired babysitters?
  5. Congratulations and good luck for your interview. Also, When were you verified? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. To all who got interviews in East Falls campus lately, can you please let me know when you were verified? It can somehow give me an idea if I should consider any interviews from this school for this cycle or not. I was verified in the last week of July. I tried calling the program but to no avail.
  7. Thank you for both your guidance. I am taking this acceptance with a very thankful heart as of now, but I will consider other options if anything changes along the way.
  8. Here is the continuation of the story..... Few days back, I had posted a topic about getting an interview from a school on probation. Well, I got accepted. This was the first time I was applying. I am feeling happy but lost. As I had previously mentioned, I did not apply to many colleges this cycle. Only 5, as I had 2 more pre-requisites to finish and have not taken my GRE. I got one rejection so far and one acceptance( from a school on probation) and yet to hear from the others(3 left). Before the probation issue, I really did like this school. It was close to home-2
  9. I am going for the interview. I need the interview experience, and I am going to take it one day at a time.
  10. I did check the ARC-PA website. So far no information on the probation as it is something that happened few weeks ago. It might be updated soon on the ARC-PA website.
  11. I am in a big dilemma. I did not apply to many schools this year, only 5. I recieved one rejection and got one interview invitation from a school that is under probation. This is the first time this school has been under probation, but I cannot help feeling a bit worried. But at the same time, is this my only chance this year? Should I just go with it or just try harder next year. Can anyone offer any advise on this matter?
  12. Did any body get any interviews lately? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
