  1. Stay in Califoria!!! Unless you have a support system in New York. It might be a great opportunity to experience something new (even if it may be more expensive).
  2. What's the difference between the Navy HPSP and HSCP?
  3. I literally had the exact same conversation with a healthcare recruiter for the Air Force! He told me to check in with him beginning in March to start getting my application ready to go. Also, he said it would be wise to apply to the Navy HPSP because it increases your chances of getting the tuition help. I will probably be applying for both!
  4. Hey guys! My name is Ben Abney, I'm from Dayton, Ohio! I have a bunch of family in the Bham area so I'm looking forward to moving down south.
  5. I interviewed November 5th in the afternoon session!
  6. I got the call too! So pumped to join the UAB family!
  7. I received the acceptance call as well! I interviewed on October 1st
  8. Just gave up my seat! Hopefully this helps someone ?
  9. Received a call this morning that I was accepted! I interviewed on 7/13.
  10. I took the Online Cell Biology course through UC Berkeley Extension and it was a great experience! Don't let those reviews steer you away. I read those and still took the course thinking it would be awful, but I did just fine!
  11. So does anyone know if they are still going to be reviewing applications even though they were just put on probation?? Email Stated this: "At its September 2016 meeting, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) placed the Francis Marion University Physician Assistant program sponsored by Francis Marion University on Accreditation-Probation status until its next validation review in March 2017. Probation is a temporary status of accreditation conferred when a program does not meet the Standards and when the capability of the program to provide an acceptable educational experience for its students is threatened. Once placed on probation, programs that still fail to comply with accreditation requirements in a timely manner, as specified by the ARC-PA, may be scheduled for a focused site visit and/or risk having their accreditation withdrawn. "
  12. Hey guys! Submitted my application mid-September. Praying and hoping for an interview invite early next year. Whatever happens just remember it doesn't define you whatsoever. Keep pushing for your dreams of becoming a PA. If it's meant to happen then it will! Trust the process. Good luck to everyone! :)
  13. Applied here in early September. Super anxious to hear back! Good luck everyone! :)
  14. Just received the receipt in the mail from my supplemental application. This would be an awesome university to attend! Good luck everyone :) Keep grinding!
