  1. I do not think they tell you your waitlist spot. They never told me mine when I was waitlisted, but I interviewed in late January and ended up getting an interview in October that same year for the following cohort. Good luck!
  2. I think malpractice insurance depends on Florida's laws. Do Physicians co-sign your charts? Does the practice have umbrella insurance? etc. Additionally, my perception was that FL had a lower pay-grade across the board. I think 90k is reasonable for a new grad in that area (middle of the state, not necessarily a high-volume or high-acuity location?). But I would certainly stand my ground and counter-offer +100k for the sake of the profession. Here in NJ new grads in Cardiology start 100-110k (but COL is much higher)
  3. Hi, I am a third year pa student & graduate in May 2020 (3 more months!) I just got my first job offer, which also happens to be my dream job, and I’m very excited about it. I want to share the good news with family and friends on social media, but I want to do it tastefully and with proper etiquette. What is safe/not safe to say publicly?
  4. I interviewed 10/12 and heard back 10/18. I interviewed late for fall 2016 start and was wait listed.
  5. Last year I did not submit my application to them until like Dec/Jan and ended up getting an interview in May. So I do not think it is too late! Good luck!
  6. Hey everyone! I was accepted for Fall 2017! Looking forward to hear who else will be joining me :D
  7. Hey guys! So excited that I was accepted into the Monmouth University PA Program for the Fall 2017 start! Looking forward to meeting fellow classmates, and waiting oh so impatiently for next year. -azalewski
