  1. Do you have to be a medic/corpsman to apply?
  2. How did you pay for PA school?
  3. I figured it would be impossible to do PA school and active duty. DANG!!! What do you mean it's a multi-year process?
  4. Hey arnoo81, thanks so much for your input. Yes, this is a very difficult decision for me. But I'm hoping that I will make the right choice for myself.
  5. Well, I'm in the DEP for the Air Force and I'm trying to switch over to the ANG. I tried to explain to my recruiter what I want to do. He tried taking me out of it. But I've decided that I'm going into the Guard. I'm trying to go to PA school. I will try to apply to military friendly schools. I hope I'm making the right decision.
  6. Has anyone tried serving in the military active duty while attending PA school?
  7. I want to join the Air National Guard and eventually become a PA. I'm 28 years old. I have a BS in Biology, but I have no HCE (Healthcare Experience). Will it be okay if I can get a non-medical job in the ANB, but go to school to get my certificate/associate's degree as an EMT or Surgical Tech? Then get a job working as an EMT or Surgical Tech and get the hours I need to get some HCE. I just want to make sure I will be qualified to apply to PA School. A lot of the PA Programs would prefer someone with HCE (CNA, EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Tech, Medical Assistant, etc...) SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND!!!
