  1. I was accepted from the waitlist last week but turned down my seat today as I have been accepted to other programs closer to home. Good luck to those still waiting to hear : )
  2. I have been accepted into this program but have a couple questions that I'm hoping a current student could answer. I'm unsure if this page is the best place to post this or not. If there are any current Barry University, St. Pete campus PA students willing to answer a couple questions I would greatly appreciate it. My email is: lillianquimby@gmail.com Thank you so much!

  4. @haleycmaxwell, thank you. I received my email eventually last Friday. Thank you again for your assistance. Good luck this cycle!
  5. Did you just continue to call each day or did they eventually email when they were received?
  6. @hgillI'm also having the same issue with Barry not receiving my GRE scores. I sent them on June 20th and they were reported on ETS's website on July 12th. I've called Barry multiple times, but have been told they have not arrived. Were you ever able to speak to someone who could help you with the issue? I'm nervous as I received an email stating if my scores weren't received within 30 business days my application would not be reviewed. My 30-day window is up on July 26th. Do you have any advice?? Thanks in advance
  7. @Nucs2PA, I'm in a similar boat this cycle as you were when you applied it sounds. I'm curious how everything turned out if you don't mind me asking? All of my schools are rolling admission so I submitted my applications to CASPA on 5/26 and was verified on 5/29. However, I will not take the GRE until the end of June because I am still taking summer classes ect. I'm very worried that because of rolling admissions I'm at a disadvantage because of the timeline with my GRE. Would love to hear what your experience ended up being. Thank you for any insight. Kindest regards.
  8. I took the GRE at the beginning of this month and did not meet the minimum requirement for the GRE, instead I was 6 points below. However, I submitted my application already in order for it to be verified. In regards to the GRE topic, is it better to submit my low score so my application can be seen as complete for programs, or only submit my new GRE score which I will retake at the end of June? I didn't submit my first GRE score as I stated because I was nervous it would automatically weed me out, even though my GPA is high and the rest of my application is strong. Does anyone have any advice if I made the right decision with not submitting my low GRE score? Thanks! My biggest concern is that because my application won't be marked as "complete" by the programs until late June when my new score comes in, that I will be at a major disadvantage, as compared to if i would have just submitted my first low GRE score.
  9. @Jdabrowski, Thank you for the reply. Yes, my GPA is high. I have 2,040 direct patient care hours as a CNA, around 100 hours of shadowing between a surgeon, 2 PA's and an ear, nose and throat doctor. Also around 250 hours of volunteering at a homeless shelter, and as a child life specialist at a children's hospital. I would say my PS is strong as well as 3 solid LOR's. With that being said, I submitted my application on May 26 to a number of the schools that didn't require extra essays in their program section. My goal is submit the rest of my applications by May 29th. I will retake the GRE at the end of June, however I'm nervous my application will not be seen as "early admission" due to my GRE score not being available to the schools until late June, early July. Do you have any insight on that? Should I be concerned that my late GRE score could hinder my application even if it's a solid score? I appreciate your advice. Thank you!
  10. Slightly below the minimum for most schools. I'm retaking it at the end of June.
  11. Hi, This is only my second time posting to this forum but I often read people's responses and they always seem to be insightful. I am about to submit my CASPA application but I'm trying to decide if it's better to submit my application with my low GRE score or not submit a score at all and list the date I will be re-taking the GRE, which is at the end of June. I was told that schools don't look at applications until a GRE score is posted to an application so I'm nervous of how to proceed. If I submit my less than average GRE score will schools disregard my application all together because it doesn't meet the minimum, or is there a chance that they'll hold onto my application because it meets all of the other requirements and wait to see what my new GRE score is? Or is it better to not submit a score, then submit my retake GRE score and hope that all of the spots are not full by the end of June? I still would like to submit my application this week with or without the GRE score but I'm conflicted on what the best options is. Thank you for any guidance, as this is my first time applying. Good luck to all of the applicants.
  12. Can anyone tell me where to find the stats for accepted students? I've looked under the "masters statistics" tab, but don't see any specifics regarding science GPA, GRE, average HCE hours ect. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
  13. For anyone who was accepted to Wake, do you mind sharing your stats? I plan to apply for the 2018 cycle but unsure where my HCE falls. Thank you
  14. For those who got interviews for this cycle, how much HCE did you have by the time of applying? I will have over 1,000 when I apply for the next cycle, 2018 and a little over 3,000 by matriculation. My HCE is my biggest downfall I would say. Thank you
