  1. I don't know if you had it or not but if you do not, volunteer time and PA shadowing/experience time, they want 50 hours worth minimum. Besides that everything looks like its going good, just get as much HCE as you can and keep up the good grades. Also, as Pa applications increase it is definitely going to get more competitive year to year, so I would suggest to plan for a war of attrition and write the best personal statement you can. Sorry dont know if this helps I literally jus got into this program and have similar states. The only thing that I think that got me the interview was having 13 years of experience. Anyway good luck and I hope this helps
  2. Waiting is soo tough especially with your num-1school choice, this was my first submitted applications.
  3. Thanks for the reply. This is my second year applying and I feel the only thing holding me back besides shadowing time is my GPA which is the way it is because I had to work two jobs while going to school full time.
  4. Hello, I pretty much had the same question. cGPA: 3.2 sGPA: 3.3 Last 45 GPA: 3.6 Last 70 GPA: 3.6 PreReq GPA: 3.6 HCE: approx 15,000 hrs, 6 year as an ER Tech and 13 years as an ALS EMT Volunteer: kind of my weak spot only around 50 hrs but am currently add more every week. Shadowing: another weak spot only 10 hrs, I have been having an extremely hard time finding a PA to shadow. I really like this school and would definitely choose it as my top pick.
  5. that is exactly what I thought. I was thinking that I could have possible made one little mistake and was sent an email I would never get. What I a guessing is that they are going to have one final interview in the begging of Dec or Jan, so either we will know soon or a lot latter
  6. Tha Fewer distractions are always good. I have always liked smaller towns anyway. I like the festivals and traditions they usually have. My friend said they have awesome produce there and I love cooking. I am going to keep my fingers crossed this sounds like a good program.
  7. thanks for the info, I got a flight heading to BDL, I did not know the drive was soo long though, guess ill just have to rent a car.
  8. I am still waiting to hear back from them but was just currious about what kind of area Toppenish is to live in.
  9. Hey all, just got an interview for Nov 20 and was wondering if anybody had any good suggestions for a person flying in from California. I've only been to the east coast once for wedding in New York. Any information would be super helpful thanks.
