About Me
I'm an Army trained PA who graduated in 1990 and left the Army after 18 years of service in 1996. Since then I have worked in rural east Texas in rural health clinics, urgent care centers, and rural ERs. I briefly owned my own clinic. Currently I am in an urgent care system in Tyler TX. I have enjoyed proctoring PA students in their clinical rotations for years.
I was on the board of directors for a county hospital district for 6 years. In addition to my PA education I have a PhD in Health Administration.
I served on the board of the Texas Academy of PAs for several years including a year as VP. I am served on the board of PAs for Tomorrow and was the president elect before "life" happened and I stepped down. I have served on several other PA organizations such as Physician Assistants for Texas and the Physician Assistant Business Alliance of Texas.
I have been married for 16 years and have 3 kids and a growing abundance of grandchildren. My wife in an RN who worked many years in hospice and current works in behavioral health.
