  6. Ok so things here at Howard move slow... Not to worry. I applied in October and was considered an early applicant. It will be up. I would say apply to as many schools as you can because HU is very selective. There were 30 seats only 20 out of 700 some applicants got in. If you are dead set on Howard, apply around early Oct, and don't lose hope if you don't hear right away. Notice we have one of the longest most expensive programs too. The classes are very well taught but like any PA program it is a fast pace. Pm me for specific questions. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  7. Unfortunately it is they made me take AA history, technical writing, nutrition, and community health. I wasn't happy but I did it. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  8. So when I interviewed I was told you can have up to 12 credits pending completion from prerequisites. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  9. So the class is just African American history. Don't get bogged down. I did too when I got the list. I just knew Howard would be a better option logistically for me and my family. You can do it but please apply early if it's where you want to go. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  10. Yes any class that says lower division is your prerequisite. Apply early please Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  11. I applied through CASPA on 10/10/14. I am a BS in Soc/Spanish translation AS in Science with a concentration in CHEM. Prerequisite GPA 3.96 hours worked as a CNA 1000+. I got the first email telling me to file a FAFSA on Dec. I got an email telling me my app was being reviewed in January. I was accepted to the school not the program in FEB. Got my invitation to interview in FEB for March 3 did not hear back till April 4th. I was told 80 get interviews for 30 seats. In my group there were supposed to be 30 interviewing but only 12 or 13 showed. sorry this is so badly typed but if you got any specific questions you can message me. :)
  12. I posted on an old thread so I decided to start a new thread. For the 2018 accepted applicants I have started a FB page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/637350243068976/ I also wanted to see what plans people have for housing. I am currently finishing AA studies, and Technical writing. Also I wanted to see if I could get a current student to join the 2018 group if they don't mind answering questions that might arise. Thanks. :)
  13. Can all applicants who got in start a FB page? I got in :)
