Congrats to everyone that were accepted. It's going to be a long and stressful road but you won't regret it! Making a FB page is a great idea. We have one for our class and it's the best was to stay in touch. We can also make a 2017-2018 connection page down the road as there is one for 2016-2017 class so you can ask questions. Hey guys just want to pop in and try and relieve some stress. The preceptor interviews does not have much to do with their discussion. They just visit with the preceptor and ask some questions about their practice. Anyone who had an interviews had to have meet the criteria for the preceptor so they just want a little more info. I only work 6 days a month and usually weekends. I send almost everyday from 9-4 either taking notes from lecture or studying for an exam or working on a paper. It all depends on how well you can understand a lot of information in a short period of time. I'm not one to read something once and remember it. If you are you will be ok. Along with that though, it's very in depth material. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lilobe33- as long as you have a BS degree and at the minimum of three years working as a nurses you should qualify. The more HCE you have will make you more a competitive applicant. I have a BS in respiratory care and had three years of HCE. Your GPA of course is awesome, no problems there. I'm just starting the program in May, but I have two co works currently in the program and one worked full time and the other part time for the online period. After that they when PRN. The program highly suggests that you do not work during clinical phase.

University of North Dakota is part online and in class. The first 9 months is online including anatomy, physiology, pharm, patho ect. Each semester you have to attend classes on campus for 5 weeks. You do all your clinicals in your home area. There are two tracks to this program for acceptance. One track is for licensed/certified professions like RN,RRT,paramedics with 3 years of clinical experience with BS degree. The other track is science based BS degrees with 1000 HCE. so this program is half online and attending campus. Only other program that I know like it.

I'm starting PA in May and I have been wondering the same thing. I was told that you can't hold two precessional license. Is this true? So does this mean I can keep my credentials but can not have my RT state license or am I totally off?

Has anyone received info about orientation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
@Chazilla. This may be a little late and you may have already applied but respiratory therapist HCE would count. I'm a RRT 3.5 yeas of full time experience and was accepted for the class 2017. You might want to email them about ECG tech. How many years did you work as a RT? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm glad to hear that! I have a couple RT friends finish PA school and they said it was hard but with a medical background make it a little easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I could not at first either trav814020. When you search for the page you have to change it to groups not people that you are searching for. I did the same thing and finally figured it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I also received my acceptance letter Dec 23 via certified mail! I'm also very excited I got in. Someone should definitely start a Facebook page for class of 2017!
