Looking for PA to shadow in NorCal

Same here, I have had no such luck in finding a PA to shadow in the central valley. If anyone has any ideas regarding shadowing opportunities feel free to contact me angiede87@yahoo.com Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

Thanks for the update! Yeah I don't think they'd wanna read various 10 page papers.
  9. I've worked both as well. Nursing homes are good for just getting patient care experience but, the hospital is where it's at. Subscribe to job listings to get emails on demand on when there is a posting because there are many applicants applying just to get in a hospital. It is possible though. In the mean time, work at a SNF for the first cna experience then maybe a sub acute/rehab facility. A little different from the usual long term sector.
  10. Hey everyone, I am looking for a PA to shadow in the Sacramento area or in the Nor. Cal central valley area to shadow. It would also be nice to make this a mentor relationship too. I would love to see more of the profession. I am currently undergrad and taking my last few classes to begin applying to programs. I am a gradute RN, but I know I feel like being a nurse isn't enough for me. I am capable of much more :) I am open to any time/day Thank you

Not confident in my supervisor's LOR

Yes, the first time I heard of this I was very shocked too. It turns out like others have said this is very common. Even our instructor told us that's what people usually do, ask the person to write it theirselves and then the boss signs it.
