  1. yeah mostly everyone says emt is good to get experience and some money but maybe being a nurse for a while could def help! Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  2. That really helps, thank you! Don't get me wrong I love biology and there's also other interesting things to major in you know, so I'm just trying to decide which one will help me in the long run. Thanks! (: Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  3. pre-pa is not something that you major in is just the prerequisites to get in pre Pa. But yeah I understand about having interesting backgrounds.
  4. Pre-PA is not like a major or anything is just the prerequisites to get in pa school. But yeah I understand about interesting backgrounds. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
  5. Well some people have told me its more difficult to do a pre-professional program if you transfer when you're trying to finish the last 2 years. EMT does sound great to gain some experience.
  6. The University i want to attend offers a pre-PA program and i was wondering if it's in my interest to go ahead and go to the 4 year school or attend community college and become an EMT to earn extra money and save up!?
  7. hahah yes i was born in 95' pssshhh.... don't feel old!!
  8. Of course yeah! Thank you that helps, so EMT would be a great decision if i wanted to get some HCE? Another thing do you think that majoring in biology is the way to go or something more health related, for example athletic training?
  9. Thank you for replying to my post, i also think it would benefit me, but do you think i should wait to see if i get enough money from scholarships and fafsa before i start thinking going straight to community college?
  10. Can anyone give some advice if Pre-pa program is necessary for PA school? The University i got accepted to offers that program but money is short and i'm not sure whether i should do 2 years at a community college then finish at a 4 year, or put off PA for now and take an ems course and work as an EMT to acquire more money and be able to pay for university?
  11. do you remember what you have to score on the asvab to qualify or how do you qualify?
  12. Hello, I'm soon going to graduate from high school and i got accepted into a university that offers pre-physician assistant program and i'm not sure whether i should go ahead and go or save some money and go to a local community college and later transfer?? So i guess in shorter terms is a pre-physician program necessary to be accepted into a PA school? I should mention i plan to major in bio-health sciences.
