  • Urgent Care FT/PT Lancaster, PA

    • Specialty: Other Schedule: Full-Time State: PA

You can stop reading other job descriptions because this is the last Urgent care job opportunity you'll ever need. Come live in Lancaster, PA! We're hiring PAs both with experience and new grads. We have 7 clinics with over 60 PAs on staff. Our shop has been open for a long time-- since 2010 (so you know it's legit) and we're affiliated with Penn Medicine/Lancaster General Health. Salary obviously flexible based on experience. 12 hour shifts (9a-9p weekdays; 8a-8p weekends), every 3rd weekend requirement. Fantastic management and very well organized. Retention rate is high and management (who also works clinically) is always tuned into our needs to ensure we're happy. I typically see between 25-35 patients a day working alongside a physician. Compare this to "retail" urgent centers (i.e. Med Express, Patient First, Concentra) that'll run you into the ground making you work solo seeing >40 patients a day before you pack an up leave after 6 months. (I know this because I've worked at both types)

Of course it's got all the standard perks, then some--403B, paid vacation time, $2,000/year CME allowance for travel, NCCPA annual certification dues and licensure fees are fully reimbursed separate from CME, student loan reimbursement, liability insurance, potential sign on bonus, and quarterly incentive bonuses up to $2000 every 3 months. Because we have so many providers to swap shifts with, you rarely need to use vacation time to travel. Lancaster has some of the best schools in the state and is a gorgeous area including Lititz (2013 award winner for America's coolest small town).
