Anson Regional Medical Services, inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Anson County North Carolina. Anson County offers country living amidst a rural paced community with all of the amenities of the big city located less than an hour away in Charlotte, NC. Our Community Health Center in Wadesboro, NC is currently seeking health care professionals to join our team, specifically a Physician Assistant/ Family Nurse Practitioner. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm that offers competitive salary and full benefits. Direct Patient Care Responsibilities:
- Provide quality medical care to the patients of Anson Regional Medical Services, Inc. (ARMS)
- Participates as an active and integral member of the patient care team.
- Consult with physicians and other members of the health care team as necessary
- Refer patients requiring hospitalization or assessment of condition to supervising physician or appropriate specialist. Follow the patient closely with that physician.
- Teach and counsel patient charts according to policy and protocol standards.
Indirect Responsibilities:
- Adheres to the policies and protocols and procedures of Anson Regional Medical Services, Inc.
- Timely Completion of patient charts as outlined in policy.
- Actively participate in scheduled meetings.
- Complete administrative assignments as requested by the Director of Clinical Affairs/Medical Director.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education/Training: Completion of formal and medical education from an accredited school of Physician's Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner is required. Must be recognized as certified by the by the NC State Examiners and/or Board of Nursing as appropriate. Board certification and one year experience in ambulatory health setting preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Provide ambulatory assistance to patients weighting in excess of 150 lbs.
Special Requirements:
One year of experience ambulatory or Community Health Center setting preferred.
