  2. After six months of waiting post-interview, I got notified by email today that I was placed on the waitlist. Anyone else hear back? I'm assuming they'd send out all of the decisions by the end of this month.

  4. Has anyone from the 3/25 interview heard back yet? Or does anyone know when they send rejections?

  8. Received an interview invite this morning. I applied the end of January! They did mention it would be the last interview session offered for this cycle.
  9. My interviewers told me it would take 4-6 weeks for email invites to come out. My virtual interview was Mar 25th. I was also advised the in-person interview would be held on May 10th. Fingers crossed the email will come sooner than later!
  10. You have great stats. The only concern is applying mostly to California schools since it’s a very competitive state to get in. Lots of people wanting to go schools in Cali.
  11. Interesting and sad to read that it has gotten so bad. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if others will follow suit and about the implications of a strike. Could it be construed as pt abandonment?
  12. Thank you so much for your response. I also interviewed on January 31st, but have yet to hear back, which is definitely not a good sign. They still haven't sent out a rejection letter, so I don't know what to expect. I emailed them as well, they said I would be emailed once a decision had been made.

  15. As of right now, I have a NICU rotation set for later this year in a Level IV. I previously worked in a Level III NICU as a PCA, and was wondering if anyone who’s done a rotation or precepted in the NICU would recommend getting my NRP certification for it? I’m not sure how hands on the rotation will be but would like to be as prepared as possible :) Thanks!
  16. I am with you. there is no ability to push back against huge companies as one person. add in the financial incentives to take advantage of PA and the only answer is unions!
  17. When I interviewed last week they told us we were the last interview.
  18. Yesterday

  20. Greetings, I am a PA-S2 looking for family medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine rotations in Orange County. If anyone has any leads or knows any providers who would be willing to take a student, I would be so grateful! Thank you!
  21. Contracted physicians, assistants at Ascension St. John go on strike (detroitnews.com) My entire life I have been anti-union. I have had to change my mind because of the way giant corporations and organizations act.
