Place to review the program for possible future students

Personally, my main issue with the Clarkson PA program is the lack of professionalism and integrity. There is never ending turnover with faculty for a reason

Cost of tuition is considerably high for the available resources IMO

Two professors within the last 5 years, one being the program director, have had relationships with students, while they were students. One now engaged, congrats!

It's a small town program with some very poor clinical rotations, some are good though

Overall, it gets you the degree needed to become a PA, but you question a lot while here. Fortunately, you can do anything for two and a half years, including your professors at Clarkson

Clarkson University's PA program is rampant with professor turnover and drama. In addition to there not being enough core faculty, the administrative department is very sparse. The faculty and staff are trying their best, but you will certainly feel like you are not getting their full attention very frequently. Communication between the school and incoming classes could be improved; my class was not informed of the classroom location until the evening before the first day of school. There is a lack of professionalism among the staff, such as faculty and students gossiping together about other faculty and students. It is an adequate education but be warned.

Hi, I wanted to start this thread for the Jan 2025 start date. I had applied during the 2023-2024 cycle but was accepted for the Jan 2025 cohort (class of 2027).

Hi! I know the deadline for this program is March 2019. Would it be a good thing to submit earlier than that?

Hi all! Anyone know what the average accepted stats are for Clarkson? I know the minimums and everything, but I'm just curious if there are any available statistics summarizing the past classes. Anecdotal acceptance info would work too for now Thanks!
