    • I think you mentioned this before, but what state are you in again?

    • I got accepted to a program closer to home!

    • Well done and thank you!  Was there any particular edge that your intended program had over UTRGV? Just curious :)
    • Nobody else is really posting, but figured I would update anyway for those that might possibly still be lurking. I'm on the active list. Little bummed, but it is what it is. I have hope because they said that 16 students of their current class got pulled from the active list. They also said they will not start pulling from the active list until April.  Good luck to those still interviewing!!
    • Today I had the pleasure of not seeing a very unpleasant woman who, when she was checking in, asked specifically to not see me. Because apparently I told a family member they had a viral illness, and she did NOT want to be told this, she wanted an antibiotic- and those were her exact words.  Now, I have never seen this particular "lady" before, but I am assuming this is the one who left screaming that I was a "fucking asshole" for not prescribing her granddaughter a zpack. My last day is April 9, and it can not come soon enough.  The second someone comes in and states which bacteria they are targeting, I will change my diagnosis.   Unfortunately, according to my poor colleague who did see her,  s was apparently positive for strep, which I personally suspect is colonization rather than infection, but no doubt validates that she was right.
