lucysmama
Hello all - I am wondering if anyone knows what happened to the Norwalk pediatric residency. I am also curious if anyone went through it in the past and could describe what it involved - what rotations were included, what didactic components, how long it was, etc. Thanks in advance - hb
Moderator EMEDPA Posted December 18, 2010 Moderator Share Posted December 18, 2010 Don't remember what yr it shut down but it was a great program. I actually considered it when I was in school. 1 yr long. very hardcore. 80+ hr weeks rotating on all peds services. for all intents and purposes equivalent to a peds md internship. around the same time the pa residencies at LA county/usc shut down. they had em, peds, and geriatrics. I imagine like usc it was a funding issue. I was actually in the process of applying to the LA county/USC em residency when it shut down in 95.
