jsabe
Can anyone comment on the job opportunities for PA's in Idaho over the last few years (specifically in the Boise area)? Is it trending up or down? Are there recent grads hunting and then needing to move out of state to find a job?
ladytateybug
Right now the job market is terrible, especially because we all just graduated. There is a lot of competition for jobs because this is a great place to live and raise a family. Also, there is a PA school in the area and others near by. Acebecker
Northwest Idaho is currently fairly poor as well - we've been stable here for quite a long time. That said, I've heard through the grapevine that at least 3 PAs in this area will be leaving within the next few months. Not a lot of growth, but there are still jobs to be had. The clinic that just hired me has an opening in their rural satellite clinic which is a ways out of town, near Orofino. So, if Orofino floats your boat - there you go. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you the hookup.
ladytateybug
Yes, please. Could you message me privately with that information? Thanks!
convulsed
there are all the rural underserved areas to go to.... reservations, isolated towns far from the metro areas. you know....all those places folks fall over themselves indicating they want to serve in when they are writing their caspa narratives. hahahaha , that was great.
