Hey,

 

Those of you who have been accepted, how are you finding your housing? I'm not sure how we are supposed to find roommates...I don't want to live alone or get stuck with some weirdos from craigslist :)

I'm starting to look for housing myself. So far all I'm doing is checking craigslist and hoping something opens up between now and august. Where are you moving from? I live in San Jose (about an hour south of Touro)

Some advice on housing:

 

1) Join the Facebook group! Lot of helpful people and info there.

3) http://studentservices.tu.edu/other/housing.html

(Irene can email you a list of rental property management in the area. She is very helpful and friendly.)

4) And as mentioned above, you can always also try the regular web resources like Craigslist and apartment websites.

 

I highly recommend going up to see the places you are interested in BEFORE signing any leases or making agreements. I actually reserved a week to check a few places out recently and found that I liked some that I didn't have too high on my list and vice versa.
