RRCC Graduates

I have been researching schools to apply to this year, and had a couple questions regarding the community college PA programs. I am looking to apply to Red Rocks, because it seems like a solid program with great PANCE passing rates. However, is it hard for a graduate to find a job once they've completed the program? I have heard that they have a great reputation in Colorado, but do these graduates have a tougher time getting a job if they move to a different state? I know it's only supposed to be the PA-C that matters for employers, but is someone who graduated from say Utah going to get a job over a community college graduate (with a Master's Degree)? I'm not one of those people who needs a big title or education to make myself feel important, I just want to know that if I spend all this time and money that I will be able to practice anywhere as a PA. And I apologize if I have offended anyone associated with RRCC, because I am confident that the program produces competent providers...I just want to know how the rest of the medical community views these graduates.

Good question, many people ask the same thing. It makes no difference whatsoever. You get your Masters of Medical Science, so no worries. Most of RRCC graduates are offered positions before graduation and the rest find jobs within an average of about 60 days. Some also leave the state to return home or for other reasons and have no trouble finding jobs. It's a really great program!
