Anyone else on the alternate list or know much about it? I was placed on the list after my interview in September. tl22 Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Just got notified I am on the alternate list as well. I don't know what to do now. I was really hoping to not have to quit my job to get more paid HCE to improve my resume, but I don't think I have a choice. I can't assume I'll be pulled from the alternate list so I'll just have to find some paid HCE. Sorry everyone, just needed a place to vent! Good luck to everyone! My portal hasn't changed and they said they were meeting today so I'm assuming the worst but holding on to a little hope that maybe I was wait listed. My portal changed to a checklist, but I called the admissions office and they told me then. I'd probably just give them a call and they can tell you for sure, good luck! The people that were rejected are not on the alternate list. If you're on the alternate list, you could still be selected if some of the accepted students decline the offer or choose not to attend for whatever reason. My "checklist" was complete last July and I got a letter "pending invite for interview" in the fall, but still have not heard anything more. sandd95 Posted January 24, 2013 Share Posted January 24, 2013 I have heard of people being rejected, so if you make it on the alternate list that's good. They do mention at the interview that rejection is the third possibility (other than acceptance and alternate list), so it must be something that happens.
