I remember the director saying a few people were admitted off of the waitlist last year and that one person was called on the first day of class; so anytime up until Day 2 (in August) is open for movement / admission from the waitlist. elpisangelos Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 People are accepted off the wait list every year, even shortly AFTER classes have started so don't give up hope. smsaenz Posted March 26, 2013 Share Posted March 26, 2013 Thanks! They called from an UNKNOWN number. I almost didn't pick it up thinking it was the Army calling about HPSP. They said a packet would be put in the mail today via snail mail. my.hsc.unt.edu still says my application is Under Review as well. I was put on the waitlist about 2 weeks ago after interviewing in late February. I did not send any updated letters of interest or anything else like that. Just an encouragement to anyone applying to PA school -- 3 years ago, I was waitlisted at UNTHSC. The accepted me 2 weeks before the program started, and 1 week ago, I had the privilege of walking across the stage at graduation. Anything is possible; all the best!
