UCDHopeful2017
Hi everyone, I am interested in Dermatology and would like to pursue a fellowship after graduation. To my knowledge, there is a fellowship at Wisconsin Medical College. Are there any others out there or any new ones in the pipeline? Thank you! Ms.PA-C
I would also be interested in knowing. Did you apply for the Wisconsin program?
UCDHopeful2017
I would also be interested in knowing. Did you apply for the Wisconsin program? I just started PA school, so the earliest I can apply is in 2 years. I was just curious if there were any new ones that popped up
Maupa
No new ones that I am aware of. Apply to the Wisconsin medical college residency. Also look into applying to work in the dermatology department of an academic medical center. You will learn a tremendous amount in that type of environment.
ArmyPA
There is one in South Texas... http://www.dermresidency.org/?p=72 that is located with a DO derm residency. Its for PAs and NPs but it looks like your required to hire on with them for at least 1year afterwards and help instruct for the next class. If you dont mind living on the southern border for 2 years it looks like a great way to get training as well as drive a lot of info home the next year as well as get some experience teaching which can be good if you want to go into academia in the future.
