loquat Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Hello Everyone, I have recently been accepted to WesternU and Midwestern University in Glendale, and I am torn. If anyone has advice on which school would provide a better education, please let me know! I've heard one of Western's teachers is pretty bad but I haven't heard anything about Midwestern. I know that US World News and Report has ranked Midwestern substantially higher, but I would appreciate more insight if anyone can help. Thanks! ajames Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Hey Loquat, I think there are a variety of factors to consider including your current location, cost, and interests beyond graduation. I don't know much about western but Midwestern is a great program that prepares students to become competent PAs. The campus is lovely and is located in northwest Phoenix, about 20 minutes away from downtown. Congratulations on your acceptance to both programs though! I would not worry too much about faculty because everyone will have different opinions and learning is all about what you make of it.
