EastCoastPA
I have two spring courses that are finished mid-May but I know my grades now. They are only required by a few schools. Should I update my transcript and re-verify or should I just go ahead and submit now with my previously verified transcript and manually add the grades? Last cycle I made the mistake of applying late and ended up waitlisted almost everywhere, so I don't want to repeat that. However, I did well in those two courses so it will slightly raise my caspa GPA if I verify.
TheMoYouKnow
It just depends on how much you need the GPA raise, I suppose. Personally, I am ready to submit now, but will have this past semester's grades posted on May 2nd, so I am going to wait it out and send my transcripts once the grades are on them. I do not think submitting at any point during the month of May would be considered a late submission, though. Best of luck!
MTOPAC
I personally would not add any grade to CASPA that was not etched in stone - anything can happen. And any discrepancy that occurs will drastically slow down the process of verifying your application.Submit now and later add your grades/update the programs when your final transcript is released. EastCoastPA
I think I'm going to wait on the transcripts, anything to boost my app! Hopefully end of May / early June is not too late
TomB
Be careful submitting your application before your grades post, especially if they are required for a program. I applied to a few programs last year that do not update your application file after it's been submitted.
