Here's the page on caspa with the gpa values they assign. You can do the math yourself. If not, there are several online gpa calculators.

Hey, so I've already looked on the website and have tried to do the calculations myself but I am still a little confused that's why I am posting on this thread to get a little more clarity.

((A1xB1)+(A2xB2)+(A3xB3))÷(B1+B2+B3)= GPA where A equals grade points, and B equals semester credit hours.

For example, 3 2 credit Bs and a 3 credit A would be:

((3×2)+(3×2)+(4×3))÷(2+2+3)= 3.43

However, I'm not doing your work for you. You're the one trying to get into grad school. Good luck.

I am aware that I am the one trying to get in. I did not ask anyone to calculate for me. I asked for clarity, which your response actually made me more confused but thank you anyway for your response. No need to be snotty to people trying to get where you are. Congrats in advance for graduating and I pray I will be in your shoes soon.

First, go here and find your letter grade equivalents:

https://portal.caspaonline.org/caspaHelpPages/frequently-asked-questions/processing-your-application/grade-point-average-gpa-calculations/

A = 4.0, B = 3.0, etc.

Second, make an excel spreadsheet with 4 columns. First column is course name, second is grade points, third is credit hours, and fourth is quality points

Third, fill in all the grade point and credit hours for each class.

Fourth, multiply the grade points by the credit hours per row. These are your quality points.

Fifth, sum the quality points and sum the credit hours.

Sixth, divide the sum of the quality points by the sum of the credit hours. Boom! GPA!

Seventh, mix and match to calculate different categories on your own.

Here is an example to get you started.

Class           Grade Pts     Credit Hours           Quality Points

Bio 1            3.0 (B)           4.0 (lecture +lab)     12.0

Psyc 101     2.0 ©            3.0                           6.0

Thus, the GPA for this would be 18/7 = 2.57
