I am looking forward to meeting everyone and starting something very special! I would like to get a facebook group going if that is something everyone is interested in? Hometown / Where are you coming from: From SD originally, but I'm moving from Minneapolis, MN Prior experience (short and sweet!): Physical therapy, PCA for special needs child, and most recently, organ & tissue donation. Top 3 things you're excited about: Finally having a solid career plan, joining a TEAM of students instead of competing with them (you!), and moving somewhere that gets much more sunshine than Minnesota! Top 3 questions you have about starting PA school: Where, oh where am I going to live? Should I brush up on anatomy, physiology, or anything else before school starts (I was told to brush up on EKGs if I wasn't already very familiar)? Expanding my professional knowledge and continuing my education. Looking forward to being a part of a group of like minded individuals who are passionate about working hard to become compassionate and caring health care providers. 3 Questions about PA school: Do I study a lot now to brush up? - similar to Heidi's. Do I work extra this summer to try to make a little extra money for school, or take it easier knowing that once school starts I won't get much of a break. It has been awesome seeing what interesting people I can look forward to being classmates, friends, and partners in crime(I mean healthcare) with.
