Kinematics
Hello Future PAs! I was accepted to a school back in November. I paid the deposit and background check, but now I have decided to go somewhere else. My question is if I have a copy of the FBI background check I did for another school, will I have to pay for a second background check? I've called the school and they've told me all my questions will be answered during orientation, but that isn't til March.
Administrator rev ronin Posted February 13, 2017 Administrator Share Posted February 13, 2017 Typically, yes, you will. Background checks are like transcripts: no one is going to rely on anything that was sent to you.
MT2PA
I'll add, too, that leaves a gap of several months where technically....you haven't been screened. If everyone goes through the process at the same time with the new school then the screen covers the same time period. In theory if you got yourself into some trouble between November and now and the school relied on your 'old' background check they are leaving themselves open to future problems. In theory. Kinematics
Thank you, everyone! I figured I'd have to pay for a second one. I was just hoping to save a little money. Alas, a girl can dream. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
