I actually walked out of the testing center feeling almost certain that I failed it. Reading other previous posts on this, this seems to be the common sentiment. How I prepared: CME Resource 3 day crash course PANRE Review: too much info and death by PowerPoint. Felt like PA school all over again. I think I slept more than I actually learned and I can say that nothing from the 3 day course stood out to me during PANRE that helped me at all. IMHO waste of time and a lot of money and my CME vacation time. I will not do this again. Claire Babcock O'Connell Physician Assistant Certification Review Book 5th edition: this one helped me a little. The q bank was ok but only 300 something questions. But the book was a much better review for me than the 3 day course. Now for the one that was, again IMHO, the best prep. PANCE Master! The questions were almost exactly worded and structured as the PANRE. I started d this 2 weeks before my test and I gotta say, I was worried because I only had time to see 55% of the PANCE master questions and they recommend 70%. But I suppose I saw what I needed to see because I passed with a very comfortable cushion. Also PANCE Master for the PANRE is $99 right now for LIFETIME! Yes Lifetime! Access. I would advise both the Babcock O'Connell book and questions along with PANCE/PANRE Master. Here's the website for pance Master www.pancemaster.com OK, Now I can enjoy Christmas! ???? Is there Anything we have like the OASIS trick used by med students to see if they passed their USMLE / ECFMG exams.You took PANRE or PANCE? there was a "trick" that some ppl posted here that if you take it before the Wednesday of the week you're taking the test that the results come out on the Thursday of the week... Or something like that... Lol. It seems to be hit or miss though. It worked for me on PANCE but nit PANRE but ten again I took PANRE on a Wednesday. Still only took a week though.
