SoCal_PA
What I currently have: Emergency Med 80% fast track, 20% Emergency 13-15 10 hour shifts/month at $64/hr Benefits include 120% match on 401k up to 6%, health, vision, malpractice. 2-3 patients on average/hr but it's usually more like 5-6 and then it tapers down at nights. 30-45min drive each way. 4 weeks PTO Before taxes, income is about 110-115k New offer: Urgent care 8am-5pm M-F with shortened hours every second Saturday Pay is $60/hr. I asked for 65 with a hard no. Benefits include malpractice, health, dental, vision. Not sure on 401k match but I do not believe they have it. Schedule is appt mostly with some walk-ins. I was told 25-30 pts/day 5 minute drive. 5 days vacation (I know, this is bad) first year, 10 second year. Before taxes, income would be 120-125k/yr Any thoughts? I was thinking I could maybe work at the UC part time since I have 15 days off a month at my current gig.
airslant
If I offered both, I would take the current job. Unless I'm missing something, I think that it is much better...so what am I missing? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
ohiovolffemtp
Could you clarify the patients per hour at the ED job? 2-3/hour if most are true fast track with only simple procedures is doable. Is 5-6/hour the arrival rate for the whole ED? No way any provider can see that many.
