moestown1016
If this isn't allowed please just pull. I've been seeing a podiatrist that I'm starting to think is a quack. My second toe has started to just swell out of nowhere and the pain is fairly bad. I limp everywhere. I don't remember trauma but I do have a toddler so who knows I may have jammed it. Pain at the base of the second toe for about 5-6 weeks. Then three weeks ago my second toe has become really painful and stays swollen. I work ER so I would probably do an X-ray and say oh well see a podiatrist. Doesn't seem like gout since it's progressive and gradual...ibuprofen helps decently. The toe just seems like such an unimportant part of the body but dang! Some mornings I can barely walk! Can't flex the toe. Almost like plantar fasciitis but it is only in the second toe. The podiatrist said nsaids then gave me some of his homemade potion / lotion that isn't working. I'm going to try and call Monday for foot and ankle specialist (I guess?). I feel dumb. Anybody in the orthopedic world have some suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
